Family Half Term : Lunar New Year Cookery
This half term in Food Learning we are exploring recipes and dishes that are eaten to celebrate Lunar New Year, which takes place on Tuesday 17 February 2026!
In all of our family and kids food learning classes we learn age appropriate knife skills, explore seasonal vegetables, and are inspired by recipes and ingredients from different cultures. After cooking our meal together, we end the class with a communal meal at the table overlooking the Museum’s courtyard garden.
Sample Menu:
- Longevity Noodles
- Egg Fried Rice
- Vegetable Spring Rolls
These workshops are inspired by our exhibition, Seasons of Change: Canton and London in the 1700s.
Family class: Age guide 5-8+ years
