Neurodiverse Family Summer Cookery Workshop | Greece
Tuesday 25 August 2026
Neurodiverse family class: Age guide 5+ years.
Calling all young chefs! Join us in the Learning Kitchen this summer holiday and set off on a culinary tour of the Mediterranean. Through fun, hands-on cookery workshops, we'll discover the flavours, traditions and techniques of different Mediterranean cuisines while preparing delicious dishes inspired by the region.
Greece Menu
- Spanakopita triangles (spinach and feta pies), Greek salad & tzatziki
- Greek yoghurt & honey fruit pots
In all our food learning classes we learn age-appropriate knife skills, explore seasonal vegetables, and are inspired by recipes and ingredients from different cultures. After cooking our meal together, we end the class with a communal meal at the table overlooking the Museum’s courtyard garden.
Our classes are specifically designed and set-up for each age group, so please make sure you have booked onto the right one. If you have children that span different age groups but would like them to attend together, please book them into the session appropriate for the youngest child.
For the family and neurodiverse classes all children to be accompanied and actively supervised by a parent or carer, who are encouraged to join in with the session too. Accompanying adults for this session do not need to book a ticket.
Please note this session has a lower capacity and is specifically for families with neurodiverse needs.
