Branch Out | Kokedama Workshop
This workshop is part of the Garden Museum’s Branch Out programme, a series of free events and activities exploring gardening, art, floristry, plant science, history, design, and more!
Kokedama (苔玉) is a Japanese craft translating to ‘Moss Ball’ in which plants are grown with their roots enclosed in a ball of moss, providing a creative and beautiful alternative display. Plants can even be combined to create living arrangements.
We will be using common houseplants, garden ornamentals, orchids and more in this hands-on meditative craft. Come get your hands dirty! Open to adults and children aged 12 and above! All materials provided. Workshop led by Ikaay (@growwslow)
